Pueblo Colorado

Aloha Everyone,
Yes, we saw the mountains today we will start the real climbing tomorrow it will be slow but I am so ready for a change of scenery. It is really amazing how every afternoon the storms are starting to roll in. We have been advised to make sure we have finished our climbs around noon time and have started to descent as the weather is stormy in the afternoon. We were riding with Chase the other day and he was takingit slow and actually got stuck in the storm and he took cover in the ditch that's how ominous these things look. It is Thundering outside right now.
We are starting to see a change in flora and fauns, and the mammals too. We are seeing rabbits, prarie dogs, and of course the cows and horses, oh and a few snakes too.
Pueblo is a big town so I think it will be a movie night, can't wait I want popcorn.
Tonight I will pull out my cold weather gear as there are reports of 36 degree temps, brrrrrrr. Going up you get hot and coming down you get cold. Also, up here you don't really sweat as it is so dry but you do get alot thirstier atleast I do. I can feel the difference in altitude already I had a small climb this morning and I could feel my heart pounding a little harder than usual. But slow and easy is the motto.

Hi Lisa,

Fabian here. I'm following your blogs with envy! I see you made great progress. Don't forget to call the Barrett's on the way into Frisco. I'm going to call you when you guys are there -- and I also hope to meet you in Oregon of course. I'll pick you up anywhere, and maybe even ride a day with you...

Say hi to Ted!

I have heard that the movie the Hangover is awesome.
One of those dirty comedy movies that keeps you laughing. Just a though :)

Hope you have nice ride through the mountains! You are getting so close! Yhippee

All on this side is great. Beautiful weather in the 80's all weekend. What a great weekend for the 4th. Hopefully, it will last til you get to this side.

Enjoy!
