Aloha Everyone,
Only 56 more days and Ted and I will out on the East Coast assembling our bicycles and doing last minute work to start our ride. We will start in Yorktown Virginia. For the first 3 nights we are staying at the Yorktown Motor Lodge which is a ground floor place which is good so we won't have to haul all of our gear up any stairs.

Hello Lisa, it's me gain. Are you as excited as I am? Does your heart skip a beat just thinking about what it's going to be like? Are your legs yearning to hammer that first big hill? And are you really ready? This might just be the beginning you know? There's still the "Great Divide Mountain Bike Trail", the "Pacific Coast Route", the "Northern Tier", and the Southern Tier" just to name a few. You know what? Maybe we should just take it one trip at a time.
